Industry Experience Transaction Experience Recent Engagements FLG in the community

FLG Partners was founded in 2004 to address a significant need that was being underserved in Northern California: an exceptional resource of dedicated, highly experienced C-level and Board-level financial leadership for public and private companies, their CEOs, boards, investors and lenders.

FLG Partners' model of high-level, Partners-only service is unique. We have no junior or temporary staff or subcontractors, and do not provide potentially conflicting services such as interim clerical staffing, recruiting and IT consulting. Through FLG Partners’ extensive network of service providers and professionals, we are able to engage best-of-breed solutions as needed for your needs without conflicting agenda or needless cost markups.

We engage with clients on five levels:

Part-time: Smaller companies rarely need a full-time true CFO. FLG Partners can provide the efficient, expert leadership you need, and can scale our effort to match your needs as they change.

Interim: If you’ve lost or dismissed your CFO, FLG Partners will step in and bridge your needs until a permanent solution can be found. Your search can be conducted deliberately, thoroughly, and without haste, knowing that your bases are covered in the meantime.

Permanent: A number of FLG Partners are the full-time, employed officers of their companies. They remain a Partner in the Firm, and can thus bring the full experience base of FLG Partners to bear to the benefit of their company. This is an exceptional advantage to companies in the post-Sarbanes-Oxley environment where CFOs must execute with precision, experience and confidence.

Project-based: If your company is facing a transaction or financing for which you believe your incumbent financial staff is underexperienced, FLG Partners will lead them through the process to a successful, efficient conclusion.

Advisory: FLG Partners often advises CEOs, CFOs, Boards, Audit Committees, Investors and Lenders on a variety of matters, including complex accounting issues, financing and operating strategies, due diligence, and restructurings.
